I saw what a room of founders can do

For two years, I helped grow a national pickleball league for founders and executives. I took it from one city and expanded it into 17 markets and more than 1,500 members.

It was ambitious, energizing and a lot of fun. Most importantly, it showed me the power of bringing founders together outside of work — not simply to network, but to build genuine relationships with people who understand the unique weight of creating and leading something.

Then I became a father

Fatherhood changed my life permanently. It changed how I think about responsibility, happiness, health, work, money and the kind of impact I want to make.

So much of the world is fleeting. Ideas, opportunities, trends, and companies come and go. But becoming a father is not a moment you move on from. It transforms the way you see your life forever.

The shift

The question changed

What I used to ask

How can I scale?

What replaced it

How can I be the best father I know I can be and build something great?

Why Founding Fathers

Neither road is meant to be walked alone

For founders, that question carries a unique set of pressures. Building a company can be deeply meaningful, but it can also consume the very life you are building it to support. Fatherhood and entrepreneurship both ask a great deal of us, but neither is a road we are meant to walk alone.

That is why I created Founding Fathers: a national community for fathers who are also founders, united by a desire to—

  1. 01Be fully present for the families they love.
  2. 02Build meaningful companies.
  3. 03Make a positive impact in the world.
  4. 04Care for themselves.

Founding Fathers exists to support the man behind the mission

Because building a company is hard, raising a family is sacred, and both become a hell of a lot easier with the right people beside you.
